Rest was the Word the Lord gave to me for 2015, so I decided to share this post from February 2013. There is a “Resting Place” and in that place is where we are refreshed and replenished and our vision is made clearer. Let us enter into His rest.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:9-11
Hebrews 3:7-11, gives us a synopsis of the plight of the children of Israel in the wilderness. Paul specifically tells us why the children of Israel spent 40 years in the wilderness, and why an entire generation of unbelievers died there.

Thanks for sharing that word “Rest.” It is almost foreign in the body of Christ, but is is for the people who hear the word and obey. Thanks for sharing. I am grateful how the Lord is teaching me to rest and it is beautiful. He has done the work. “It is finished!”
